MICHAEL J. SULLIVAN

Mike Sullivan has over 20 years of experience in law firm management and legal recruiting. Prior to joining Miller Sabino & Lee, he managed West Coast partner recruiting at Nixon Peabody an 800 attorney, international law firm where he built out its California and West Coast presence through recruitment of lateral partners. That effort resulted in the establishment of a Silicon Valley office and significant lateral growth in the firm's Los Angeles and San Francisco offices. Prior to that, Mike served for 17 years in various executive capacities including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of the international law firm of Kirkpatrick & Lockhart (now K&L Gates). During that tenure, he was integrally involved in the ongoing expansion, recruitment, due diligence and lateral integration efforts that saw K&L Gates grow from 300 attorneys in 5 offices on the East Coast to 1,000 attorneys in 12 offices, including establishment of new offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Palo Alto, New York, London, Dallas and New Jersey. 

Mike previously worked for 13 years as a practicing C.P.A. with one of the Big 4 international accounting firms, at which he also supervised the recruiting function. 

He received his B.A. (Political Science) and an M.B.A. (Accounting) from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
